I have finally gotten to upgrade my internet site. It is still in progress. Over the last few years I have been very busy. I am in off the road somewhat, working on large commissions, teaching college, basically staying out of trouble. The last three summers I was teaching in Gleann Collumcille at the Oideas Gael Scoil in Donegal. It was the experience of a lifetime. To teach the "Book of Kells Style" Celtic Art to Irish teachers so they could bring it back to their classroom was an incredible thing. To be where Saint Colmcille started his work was an incredible spiritual gift. Imagine a Celtic Yank from New Jersey being invited to teach Celtic Art In Ireland. This experience validated my whole career. I am more inspired than ever so stay tuned.
I have a new print series that I have been working on the last five years or so. I will have it up as soon as I can work out some details with my shopping cart.
My sculpture, "The Celtic Garden Cross" has been completely retooled. It was one of those pieces that needed every effort. The new material will last 200 years and it has turned out to be less expensive. The reproduction is true to my original. I spent years on the original and about five years trying to reproduce it. If you have one of the early ones that has not weathered well or crumbled, please let me know and I will send you a new one.
I miss seeing all the folks at the shows. When my little boy is up to it. (old enough to help his dear old Dad) I will venture out again.
A special thanks to all of you that write me and keep me updated.
Did someone mention the World Wide Web? Thanks for visiting our web site, I recieve hundreds of e-mails and find it difficult to keep up. Sometimes I write back and the message won't go through somehow. The mailer daemon must love me. If I don't get back to you and you feel it was important, please send it again. Practice makes perfect and squeaky wheels get fixed.
See you around the campus. All the best!!!
